Power Delivery Network™
Uninterruptible, conditioned data center power is supplied by our Power Delivery Network™. Depending on the service level required, we can provide you with active, active-passive and active-active power delivery configurations.
Utility
Utility power is delivered to the data center from redundant, dedicated feeders.
Conditioned
Once inside the data center, power is conditioned using an array of uninterruptible power systems (UPS). We deploy UPS from multiple manufacturers to protect against manufacturer-specific defects that could affect UPS operation.
Power distribution is similarly handled by multiple, diverse power distribution units (PDU). Fed from 2MW distribution panels, each 150kW PDU is equipped with a 200% rated neutral bus and K-20 isolation transformer, providing exceptional critical load reliability.
Backup
Our data centers use best-in-class Caterpillar generators. Each industrial-strength diesel generator is capable of providing 2.25MW of backup data center power. In addition, we use valve-regulated lead acid (VRLA) batteries. These low-maintenance, lead-acid rechargeable batteries can handle 100% load for five minutes.
