Data Center Access Control

We employ a multi-layered approach to data center access control. Starting at the perimeter of our buildings, we have bollards to control the flow of traffic onto the premises. Guard-controlled gated entry restricts unauthorized visits and trained security staff monitor the data center and the surrounding area 24*7*forever. Closed circuit TV surveillance is installed at multiple locations in and around the data center with all activity recorded digitally and stored offsite.

As a customer, you determine who may and may not have access to your data center space. All visitors must provide government issued identification to the security officer, who verifies this information against the customer-defined access list and then issues an access badge. Biometric screening confirms each visitor's identity and bank-vault style mantraps manage entrance into the data center.

Upon entry, the access badge enables the visitor to enter only the areas of the data center they have been authorized for. Private cages and suites are equipped with dedicated access control systems and cabinets have locking front and rear doors for additional protection.
