The IO Factory is an emerging, state-of-the-art data center infrastructure manufacturing facility. Employing world-class manufacturing best practices including lean production and total quality management, the IO Factory rapidly delivers the most reliable and cost-effective IO.Anywhere modules to a growing base of customer- and IO-managed data center sites worldwide.

Located in Phoenix, Ariz., the factory employs over 60 trained data center technicians and specialized technology subcontractors to produce modules on multi-station assembly lines.

IO has adapted best practices from industry leaders to enable rapid response to customer demand. Utilizing a push-pull planning and inventory management approach, the IO Factory quickly and reliably responds to changes in customer demand, assuring delivery to forecasts with advanced order commitment.

IO has contracted with a 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) firm with freight forwarding experience to ensure timely delivery and clearance of shipments to sites worldwide with documented standard operating procedures for delivery and installation. With IO’s proven track record in manufacturing, assembling and installing modules, the IO Factory plays an industry-changing role in the rapid delivery of Data Center 2.0 technology hardware.
