Colocation cages can accommodate a wide array of free-standing equipment including storage arrays, mainframes, and networking equipment.
IO's Engineering team designs and builds custom steel-mesh colocation cages based on the customer's specific power requirements. Power can be delivered to the customer's colocation cage in an active, active-passive, or active-active power configuration. In addition, each colocation cage can be configured with a dedicated access control system for additional physical security.
The power and cooling infrastructure is located outside the colocation cage in a service galley that is accessible only by IO's Operations team. This configuration provides the customer with 100% of the usable floorspace for IT equipment.
