IO Data Centers Successfully Completes SAS 70 Audit

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., June 17, 2008 IO Data Centers, an industry leader in the design, build and operation of mission-critical data centers, today announced its successful completion of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS 70) Type II examination, one of the most rigorous examinations of internal controls for service companies. IO Data Centers completion of the SAS 70 Type II audit ensures the efficiency and integrity of IO Data Centers services. The SAS 70 Type II examination for IO Data Centers was performed by independent service auditor, Deloitte & Touche LLP, who tested all controls in accordance with the AICPA.

By completing this examination, IO Data Centers customers have third-party assurance that all internal network, access and operational controls are effectively in place.

Subjecting our facilities to a SAS 70 Type II audit establishes and confirms that IO Data Centers adheres to one of the most stringent, industry accepted auditing standards for service companies, said IO Data Centers Senior Managing Director Anthony Wanger. The successful completion of the SAS 70 Type II examination went beyond the industry standard of attaining a Type I audit by asserting to the independent service auditor that the controls were appropriately designed, placed in operation and functioning effectively for the entire period of time of the examination.
