Senior .NET Software Engineer
Description:
As a member of the Information Technology team, you will work for IO’s Application Delivery Team specializing in .NET/C# and be responsible for all facets of development, delivery and maintenance, as well as management and leadership functions on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:
- Work on multiple software development projects using the .NET framework as directed by leadership. Projects include web, windows and web service development
- Work with Business Analysts and Project Sponsors to understand requirements and create functional and technical documentation
- Develop and support applications, web services and vendor integration
- Develop and maintain complex systems or subsystems using object oriented techniques and design patterns to ensure maintainability
- Refactor existing code to meet evolving needs of business
- Track usage and effectiveness of all authored applications
- Create and manage versioning for all authored applications
- Stays current with relevant technology in order to maintain and/or improve functionality for authored applications
- Be able to travel as necessary

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university or equivalent years of work experience in the field
- Full SDLC experience developing large or complex systems
- 10+ years total development experience, including object oriented coding techniques
- 6+ years experience in Microsoft 2.0-3.5 C# .NET/ASP.NET development
- Understanding of IIS Web Servers
- Expert level knowledge and experience with SQL and software interaction with databases such as MySQL, SQL Server and / or Oracle through APIs such as OCI and ODBC
- Software testing (Unit, System, Integration, Functional, Performance) experience
- Knowledge of layered systems architectures, solutions and designs
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of shared software concepts
- Ability to work flexible hours and under minimal supervision
